Onions
Program Objectives
Improve early nutrient availability and soil conditions
Support strong root development and stand establishment
Reduce herbicide-related stress
Increase nutrient uptake efficiency and bulb quality
Pre-Plant (Optional)
RECLAIM— 32 oz/Acre
Applied as a water run or sprayed prior to the final tillage pass to stimulate microbial activity, improve soil conditions, and release tied-up nutrients ahead of planting.
Planter Band
SEED TREATMENT— 32 oz/Acre
Applied in the planter band with fungicides or a liquid starter fertilizer blend to support early root development and uniform stand establishment.
Water Run Fertility In Season
RENEW—16 oz/Acre or AIM — 24 oz/Acre
Applied in season with liquid fertilizer blends. Different applications are based on soil types, soil samples and plant tissue results. Applied to enhance nutrient uptake during key plant stages such as bulking.
Herbicide Applications
MICROPLUS—16-32 oz/Acre
Applied with herbicide programs to reduce crop stress and maintain plant health when using chemistries that commonly stress onions.
OR
RECLAIM — 32 oz/Acre
Applied as a water run approximately 5 days after stressful chemistries are applied (i.e. Goal® / Buctril® combinations) to reduce “herbicide hangover” and support recovery.
Foliar Nutrients/Insecticides
MICROPLUS—16-32 oz/Acre
Paired with foliar potassium and a balanced micronutrient package to increase nutrient uptake efficiency and support bulb development. Enhances efficiency of paired insecticide and helps plants maintain proper growth.
